Katharina Viktoria Weiß (born July 23, 1994 in Bad Wörishofen ) is a German writer and journalist .

life and career

Weiß grew up in Bad Wörishofen, Bavaria . She attended the Marien-Gymnasium Kaufbeuren until she graduated from high school .

In 2010, as a 15-year-old student, Weiss sent the synopsis for her non-fiction debut Generation Geil to Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf Verlag . In May 2011 the second non-fiction book, Schön !? which deals with the cult of the body and ideals of beauty in intimate conversations . After various guest columns and the coming-out-of-age novel Sommernachtsjugendewigkeit , the pop literary report book 100 Things You Should Do Before You Turn 18 was published in 2012 in collaboration with travel journalist Marie Michalke of the same age . In 2013, together with Philipp Zumhasch , she published the anthology Legenden von Morgen , which deals in 35 reports with young talents from areas such as politics, science, pop culture, literature and art. She became known to a wide audience through five appearances on TV .

Before working with Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf Verlag , Weiss wrote for the Mindelheimer Zeitung and the Augsburger Allgemeine for several years . From 2013 to 2015, Weiß completed an apprenticeship at the Axel Springer Academy and works at Die Welt , Die Welt Kompakt and Bild am Sonntag . For the moderation of the multimedia project Wahllos.
