Kathrin Stainer-Hämmerle

Kathrin Stainer-Hämmerle (born January 20, 1969 in Hohenems ) is an Austrian political and legal scholar and professor of political science at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in Villach .

Career

Kathrin Stainer-Hämmerle was born in Hohenems and grew up in the neighboring municipality of Lustenau . She attended the BRG and BORG Dornbirn-Schoren and then studied political science at the University of Innsbruck . Later she also completed her law studies there. It was with a dissertation on the subject right to choose a doctor of political science doctorate and later assistant professor in Innsbruck.

After teaching and research assignments at the universities of Graz , Krems and Klagenfurt , he was appointed to a professorship for political science at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in 2009 .

From 2005 to 2009 Stainer-Hämmerle was a board member of the Austrian Society for Political Science and from 2009 to 2011 a member of the editorial board of the Austrian Journal for Political Science . She is regularly asked about current domestic political issues by the ORF .
