Katja Huber

Katja Huber (born July 12, 1971 in Weilheim / Upper Bavaria ) is a German writer .

Life

Katja Huber studied Slavic Philology and Political Science at the University of Munich , interrupted by several longer stays in Volgograd . Since 1999 she has worked as an editorial assistant for Bayerischer Rundfunk , since 2014 mainly for the radio play / documentation / media art department. In addition, Huber writes narrative works and radio plays . In 2006 she took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition . In the same year, the Munich- based author received the Bavarian State Prize for Literature .
