Katja Losch

Katja Losch (born January 6, 1972 in Hanover ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

After graduating from high school at the Integrated Comprehensive School Bonn-Beuel, Katja Losch graduated from 1992 to 1998 with a degree in languages, economics and culture at the University of Passau . During her studies, she completed a semester abroad at the Universidad de Córdoba in Spain from 1995 to 1996. She obtained her diploma for languages, economic and cultural studies from 1997 to 1998. Until 1999 she was a trainee in the newsroom at B.TV Württemberg and in 2000 at the German television news agency Hamburg 1.

From October 2000 she was hired as a presenter and editor for the German television news agency in Hamburg am Morgen . Then Katja Losch was a freelance journalist for N3 . In November 2001 she joined the news channel N24 (now the world ), where she presented the program Cash & Service until September 2003 and was also responsible for N24 Wirtschaft in 2003 . Since 2006 she has been moderating the program Sat.1 News - Die Nacht .

At the end of September 2007, Sat.1 announced that Katja Losch will be the presenter of the broadcaster's main news from October 15, 2007 . She succeeded Thomas Kausch .

After only five months as anchor of the main news, Sat.1 announced that it would rebuild the news. Peter Limbourg becomes the new anchor . Losch remains true to the Sat.1 news. She also works in the editorial department of DW-TV .

Katja Losch can also be seen regularly on the news of the TV channel Welt .

She is married and the mother of two sons.
