Katja Neureuther (* in Danzig ) is a German actress , assistant director and director . Until 1980 she was known as an actress under the stage name Katja Weigmann .

Life

Katja Neureuther was born in Gdansk. She received her training as an actress at the Drama School Zerboni . Until 1975 she played in many television and cinema films under the name Katja Weigmann. Among other things, she played theater at the Munich Volksbühne and the Lore Bronner stage .

Between 1976 and 1980 she worked as an assistant theater director at the Hansa-Theater (Berlin) under the direction of Paul Esser . Since their marriage in 1980 she has worked as an assistant director and director as Katja Neureuther.
