Trude Ackermann

Trude Ackermann , also Trude Ackermann-Wölkart (born October 14, 1924 in Vienna as Trude Wölkart ; † March 4, 2018 there ), was an Austrian actress and author. From 1955 to 1996 she was a member of the Vienna Burgtheater ensemble .

Life

Trude Ackermann trained as an actor at the Max Reinhardt Seminar , and she had one of her first roles at the Schönbrunn Palace Theater . In 1955 she became a member of the ensemble of the Vienna Burgtheater , which reopened after the Second World War , where she stayed until her retirement and was seen in over 90 roles. At first she played mainly works by Johann Nestroy , later, among other things, in the comedy of vanity by Elias Canetti . Most recently she was there under the direction of Claus Peymann in Brecht's Threepenny Opera , in Six People Looking for an Author by Luigi Pirandello and in Vinny by Klaus Pohl on stage, in 1996 she played the role of Frau Gertrud in the Nestroy Posse He wants a joke make yourself .

In 1985 she was given the professional title of chamber actress . After her retirement at the Burgtheater, she was seen at the Summer Festival in Stockerau and staged, for example, the Jewess of Toledo at the Baden City Theater . She also taught acting at the Krauss Drama School and from 1996 at the Franz Schubert Conservatory . In addition to her work as an actress, she also worked as a writer. Trude Ackermann was the half-sister of the journalist Peter Rindl . She died in March 2018 at the age of 93.
