Henri Kavilo (born July 5, 1999 ) is a Finnish ski jumper .

Career

Henri Kavilo made his debut on August 18 and 19, 2016 in two competitions in Kuopio, Finland in the FIS Cup , where he finished 55th and 42nd. After participating in further competitions in the FIS Cup, Kavilo started in the Continental Cup for the first time on March 4 and 5, 2017 in Rena, Norway , where he reached 45th place in one competition and was disqualified in the second competition. Since then he has regularly competed in both series of competitions, but has not yet achieved a top 30 placement in the Continental Cup (as of August 2019).

At the Finnish Summer Championships 2018 in Lahti , Kavilo won the gold medal in the team competition together with Ilkka Herola , Eetu Nousiainen and Jesse Pääkkönen . A year later, in February 2019, he won his first individual championship title at the 2019 Finnish Championships in Jyväskylä on the normal hill.

Kavilo is in the Finnish B-squad for the 2019/20 season .
