The Finnish Ski Jumping Championships 2019 took place on February 17th in Jyväskylä and on March 29th 2019 in Taivalkoski . Due to the difficult weather conditions, the competition on March 29th on the Tapio Räisänen-mäkikeskus was moved from the HS80 to the HS52 hill and the women's championship was canceled. In addition, the competition planned for March 30th on the large hill in Ruka was also canceled. This also prevented Janne Ahonen's comeback , who wanted to compete in Ruka. The championship was organized by the Finnish Ski Association .

Result

Normal hill

The championships took place on February 17th on the Matti-Nykäsen-Mäki normal hill (HS108). The Finnish champion was Henri Kavilo , who won his first individual championship title a few months after the team success at the Finnish Summer Ski Jumping Championships in 2018 . The competition was interrupted after Niko Löytäinen fell in the second round. The Finnish A-squad did not take part in the competition, as they instead competed in the World Cup competitions as part of the Willingen Five 2019 .

The Finnish ski jumping champion was the Nordic combined athlete Ilkka Herola on March 29th . The favorite, Antti Aalto , only finished seventh.
