Kawamoto Taizō ( Japanese 川 本 泰 三 ; born January 17, 1914 in Seto ; † September 20, 1985 ) was a Japanese national football player.
Kawamoto made his debut at the Far East Games in 1934 . He scored a goal in the first game. Two more games followed. He also took part in the 1936 Olympic Games, where he contributed a goal to win over Sweden's selection. In 1940 he completed another international match in a friendly tournament. At the age of forty he was called up again and played three more games, including one in a World Cup qualifier against the selection of South Korea.
