Masashi Watanabe ( Japanese 渡 辺 正 , Watanabe Masashi ; born January 11, 1936 in Hiroshima , Hiroshima Prefecture ; † December 7, 1995 in Chiba , Chiba Prefecture ) was a Japanese football player .
National team
1958 Watanabe made his debut for the Japanese national soccer team . Watanabe made 39 international appearances and scored twelve goals. With the Japanese national team, he successfully qualified for the Olympic Games in 1964 and 1968 . At the Olympic Games in 1968, Japan won the bronze medal.
