The Kebesch ( Russian Кебеж, Большой Кебеж ( Bolshoi Kebesch , "Big Kebesch")) is a right tributary of the Oja in the Krasnoyarsk region in the south of Siberia .
The Kebesch rises in the Ergaki mountain range in northeastern Western Sayan . It flows in a north-westerly direction through the mountains. The R257 trunk road runs along the river for a while before it branches off to the west to Tansybei . To the north of Tansybei, the Maly Kebesch flows into the Kebesch on the left. The Kebesch passes the village of Grigoryevka and gradually turns to the west. It finally flows into the Oja, a right tributary of the Yenisei, 10 km north of Yermakovskoye . In the lower reaches of the Kebesch forms numerous meanders .
The Kebesch runs entirely within the Yermakovsky rajon . It has a length of 131 km. It drains an area of 2170 km². The mean discharge at the Grigoryevka gauge is 18 m³ / s. The Kebez floods in May when the snow melts . The monthly mean in May is 59 m³ / s.
