Kedi ( Russian Кеди́ and Avar Къеди́ ) is a village (selo) in the Republic of Dagestan in Russia with 738 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
The village belongs to Rajon Zumadinski and is approximately 13 kilometers in a straight line to the west of Rajonverwaltungszentrums Agwali near the border with Chechnya , in the valley of Sassitlitschai, a left tributary of Andi Koysu . Kedi is the only village in the rural municipality (selskoje posselenije) Selo Kedi. Nearly two-thirds of the population belong to the ethnic group of the Avars on.
