Keith Fair (born January 8, 1968 in Castlegar , British Columbia ) is a former Swiss - Canadian ice hockey player who has played for HC Ambrì-Piotta and HC Lugano in the National League A during his active career .

Career

Fair was active as a junior player for the Langley Eagles and Sidney Capitals in the second-rate British Columbia Hockey League . For the 1986/87 season , the dual citizen moved to Switzerland for HC Ambrì-Piotta . At the Biancoblù , the left-handed shooter established himself as a regular in the following nine seasons and developed into a Swiss national player over the course of this time.

In 1995 he moved to Lugano ; Fair spent a total of ten years with the Bianconeri and won the Swiss championship with the Ticino in 1999 and 2003 . He also worked temporarily as an assistant captain. He let his career come to an end in the 2004/05 season in Ticino. He also played a game for EHC Chur in the National League B this season .

International

For Switzerland , Fair took part in the 1992 World Cup. He was also on the Swiss squad for the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville . In total, he was on the ice in 42 international matches for Switzerland.
