Keith R. Porter Lecture
The Keith R. Porter Lecture is an award from the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) in memory of Keith R. Porter , which has been presented annually to an outstanding cell biologist at the annual meeting of this scientific society since 1982 . Members of the ASCB can propose an award winner to the President and Program Committee, who will give a presentation at the annual meeting.
Six of the laureates later received a Nobel Prize , three of the laureates were already Nobel laureates when they delivered the Keith R. Porter Lecture .
