Kelsi Melanie Fairbrother-Svane (born August 5, 1989 in Hillingdon , United Kingdom ) is a British handball player .
Career
Fairbrother came to Denmark at the age of 16 to play handball. In July 2009, the winger signed a contract with the Danish second division club TST Hjørring. After Hjørring got into financial difficulties, she moved to league rivals Frederikshavn FOX a month later. In the summer of 2010, the left-hander joined the first division team Esbjerg . With Esbjerg she took part in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons in the EHF Cup and in the 2012/13 European Cup Winners' Cup. In summer 2013 she moved to Aalborg DH . However, Aalborg had to file for bankruptcy shortly before the start of the 2013/14 season, which meant that the club did not participate in the game. Since the 2014/15 season Fairbrother has been playing for the Danish second division team Tarm-Foersum GF.
Fairbrother is a member of the British national handball team . She was in the British squad that took part in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London .
