Kemal Aslan (born October 24, 1981 in Gaziantep , Turkey ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
society
Aslan started his club football career at the amateur club Gaziantep Esenspor . From here he moved to Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor as a professional player . In this club he also made it into the Turkish youth national teams. After two years at Gaziantep BB, he moved to the first division club in his hometown, to Gaziantepspor . Here he finally made his breakthrough and became one of the league's shooting stars.
After several large clubs tried to sign him, he decided in the spring of 2003 for Fenerbahçe Istanbul . Kemal Aslan played from January 2003 to summer 2008 for Fenerbahçe Istanbul, the 17-time Turkish champions. He played his first game for Fenerbahçe on February 9, 2003 against MKE Ankaragücü . In July 2007, Kemal extended his contract with Fenerbahçe Istanbul for another three years until 2010.
Despite this one year old contract extension, he moved to Gaziantepspor for the 2008/09 season . This change did not take place in retrospect because Gaziantepspor did not pay the agreed transfer fee. So Fenerbahçe declared the contract invalid and brought Aslan back. A short time later, the then first division Kocaelispor signed him . Here he only stayed one season and was hired for the 2009/2010 season at Bursaspor . He did not stay with this club for the long term either. the following seasons he played one season each with the second division Adanaspor and Denizlispor . After the end of his contract with Denizlispor in the summer of 2012, he remained without a club.
National team
During his time at Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor, Aslan went through the Turkish U-18 and U-19 national teams. In the period from 2001 to 2003 he played a total of 36 times for the Turkish U-21 national team . This makes him one of the players with the most national team appearances for the Turkish U-21s. He was also the captain of that team for a long time.
