Kemal Halat (born July 5, 1971 in Tunceli , Turkey ) is a former Turkish football player . His playing position was defense and man marking.
Career
He had his footballing beginnings in Turkey, where he played for the Kocaelispor club, for example . From there he moved to the second division club 1. FC Nürnberg in the spring of 1995 . Fortuna Düsseldorf and VfL Osnabrück are among his other positions in the 2nd Bundesliga . From 2003 he played in the Regionalliga Nord , later for various Berlin top division clubs . His last game before the end of his career took place on December 12, 2006 at the club BAK Ankaraspor 07 , where he received a yellow-red card shortly before the end of the game .
Between 2008 and 2009, Halat was assistant coach of the Liberian national soccer team at Antoine Hey's side . In 2014/15 he coached the U-20 side of Libya. Then he returned to Germany.
