Kendale Deshawn McCullum (born May 31, 1996 ) is an American basketball player .

career

McCullum played basketball as an adolescent at Larkin High School in Elgin , Illinois . From 2014 he studied and played at the University of Wisconsin Parkside. He stayed there for three years, in 2017 he moved within the second NCAA division to Lewis University and thus back to Illinois. As a result of the change of university, he had to take a year off from play, in the 2018/19 season he led the Lewis University team with 16.4 points per match, and he was also the best assists (6.3 per match). He was named Player of the Year and Best Defender of the Great Lakes Valley Conference .

In mid-July 2019 he was signed by the German second division Uni Baskets Paderborn . In his first year as a professional basketball player, he achieved 18.3 points per match, and he also prepared an average of 7.1 basket hits for his fellow men, recorded 2.6 ball wins and 5.5 rebounds per match. He was voted the best ProA player of the 2019/20 season in a vote by the 2nd basketball division . His good performance in Paderborn earned him a contract with the Finnish first division club Helsinki Seagulls  , which he signed during the 2020 summer break.
