The Kenkeme ( Russian Кенкеме , Yakut Кэнкэмэ ; also Kengkeme , Кенгкеме ) is a 589 km long left tributary of the Lena in the central part of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in Russia .
The flow produced at the northeast edge of Lena plateau , 125 km straight line west of Jakutsk , from the 38-km long Yagas-Yjaabyt ( Ыагас-Ыйаабыт ) from the left and a 36 km long Joljong-Jurege ( Ёлёнг-Юрэгэ ). He first flows southeast to east, then turns north, in which he increasingly strong meandering the Mitteljakutische lowland flows through until about 170 kilometers north-northwest of Yakutsk and slightly below the confluence of the largest (right) Lena Creek Aldan in the middle reaches of the Lena. Its catchment area covers 10,000 km². The most important tributaries are the 59 km long Tschukul and the Tschakyja, which flow from the left into the upper middle reaches of the Kenkeme.
The discharge at the Wtoroi Stanok gauge on the middle course, 376 km above the mouth, is an annual mean of 1.91 m³ / s, with a maximum monthly mean of 13.53 m³ / s in May. In winter the river freezes to the bottom; from December to March the monthly mean discharge is 0.00 m³ / s.
The middle reaches of the Kenkeme flowing through sparsely populated area with no major towns, is about 40 kilometers west of Yakutsk from the eastern section of the section Mirny - Yakutsk the highway A331 Vilyuy River crossed.
