Kenny Stafford (* 20th April 1990 in Columbus , Ohio ) is an American American Football - Arena football - and Canadian football poker players. He currently plays the position of wide receiver for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Career

Stafford played college football at the University of Toledo for their football team, the Toledo Rockets . He has captured 906 yards and eight touchdowns from 59 passes captured in four years. Subsequently, the Atlanta Falcons signed him, but released him before the start of the season. He then played for the Pittsburgh Power from the Arena Football League and spent time with the Montreal Alouettes from the CFL. On July 19, 2013, the Miami Dolphins signed him . On August 23, 2013, he was released from the Dolphins. He then went back to the CFL to play for the Calgary Stampeders . The following season he played for the Montreal Alouettes. For the 2015 season , Stafford was swapped for Fred Stamps from the Alouettes to the Edmonton Eskimos . That season, he has 732 captured yards and nine touchdowns. He won the 103rd Gray Cup with the Eskimos , but decided to join the Free Agency after the season . He then signed again with the Alouettes, from whom he was released late in the 2016 season . The Blue Bombers signed him for the 2017 season , but released him at the end of the training camp. The Eskimos then signed Stafford. For this he caught 20 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns. On February 1, 2018, he received a new one-year contract with Edmonton. In February 2019, the Eskimos extended Stafford's contract to the 2020 season . He caught 30 passes for 366 yards and two touchdowns before being traded to the Saskatchewan Roughriders for Christion Jones in August 2019 .

Personal

Stafford is the nephew of Hall of Fame receiver Cris Carter . He played in Montreal with his cousin Duron Carter in 2014 and 2016
