Kennya K. Cordner (born November 11, 1988 in Speyside ) is a soccer player from Trinidad and Tobago .
Career
society
In 2007 Cordner played for the WPSL participant Northampton Laurels . In 2009 she ran in Sweden for the lower class club Kvarnsvedens IK , for which she was able to score five goals. Shortly before the end of the 2010/11 season, Cordner joined the Australian club Brisbane Roar , with whom they could celebrate the championship in the W-League at the end of the season . In the summer of 2011 she played for San Juan Jabloteh in her homeland .
At the beginning of 2013 she moved again to the WPSL and signed a contract with the Issaquah Soccer Club, which appeared in the 2013 season as a reserve team as a result of a cooperation with Seattle Reign FC . In June 2013, she moved to the Seattle professional team, where she made her league debut against Western New York Flash on June 23 . On July 12, 2013, Seattle announced the termination of its contract with Cordner. This was necessary in order to meet the NWSL regulations for the upcoming engagement of the Australian national player Emily van Egmond . Cordner then ran again for the reserve of the Seattle Reign and switched to W-League participant Seattle Sounders Women for the 2014 season .
In April 2017, Cordner moved to FC Dallas . In August of the same year she moved to the Paraguayan club Sportivo Limpeno . Since 2018 she has been playing for the Norwegian club IL Sandviken .
International
Cordner plays for the Trinidad and Tobago national team . On July 7, 2011, she scored nine goals in a 14-1 win over Dominica as part of qualifying for the 2012 Olympic Games .
