criticism
Allmusic gave it a 3.5 out of 5 stars and called the album "simply great." The website renownedforsound.com also gave it a 3.5 out of 5 stars and called Ketevan "an album that will never go out of style."
Ulf Kubanke from Laut.de described the first half of the album as a "real spectacle". In contrast, the second half would drop sharply. Melua did not succeed in "collecting enough songs for a real fireworks display", instead "[flee] the artist again in the course of tasteful general stencils from the worn-out clothing department of the singer / songwriter."
