Imatran Ketterä is a Finnish ice hockey club from Imatra founded in 1957 . The team plays in the Suomi-sarja and plays its home games in the Karhumuchten jäähalli .
history
The association was founded in 1957. In the 1982/83 season the team took part for the first time in the I-divisioona , which was then still the second Finnish division. In this, the team was able to establish itself in the following nine years, before they relegated in the 1990/91 season to the third-class II-divisioona. From 1993 to 1997 the team appeared again in the I-divisioona. Since the 2002/03 season Ketterä has been playing in the new third division, Suomi-sarja . In the 2008/09 season the team won the championship title of Suomi-sarja, but then missed promotion to the Mestis in relegation .
