Martin Lamotte
Martin Lamotte (born June 2, 1947 in Paris , France ) is a French actor , screenwriter and film director .
biography
Martin Lamotte studied acting with Patrick Dewaere , Coluche , Miou-Miou , Henri Guybet and Romain Bouteille with Tania Balachova at the Café de la Gare . He later made his debut with his colleagues in 1973 in the comedy The Year Zero One directed by Jacques Doillon as a film actor on the screen. Shortly afterwards he founded the Théâtre de la Veuve Pichard with Coluche , on which he later also appeared on the stage. He also played at the Théâtre Saint-Georges , Théâtre du Palais-Royal and at the Théâtre des Variétés . For his portrayal in the comedy Un fil à la patte , he was nominated for the Molière Theater Prize in 1990 for Best Supporting Actor.
In parallel to acting, Lamotte also wrote several scripts. After his debut with the comedy Les babas Cool , he also wrote Twist Again in Moscow and Das Zebra, among others . He made his directorial debut in 1998 with the comedy Ça reste entre nous .
Lamotte has been married to actress Karine Belly since 2002 .
