Kevin De Weert (born May 27, 1982 in Duffel ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

De Weert finished sixth in the junior race of the 1999 road world championships . In 2002 he got a contract with Rabobank TT3 , the farm team of the Dutch cycling team Rabobank . He won the overall ranking as well as a stage of the Liège Tour , after which he switched to the professional team in 2003. In 2005 De Weert moved to ProTeam Quick Step-Innergetic , where he spent most of his career. Although he did not win any elite races on the international calendar, he developed into a tour specialist . De Weert finished the Tour de France in 2010 as 18th and 2011 as 13th. In May 2015 De Weert announced his resignation. After a serious fall at the Vuelta a España 2013 , he was unable to find his way back to his old level of performance.
