Kevin Gage (* 26. May 1959 in Wisconsin as Kevin Gaede ) is an American actor who primarily for his role in the film Heat was known.

Life

Kevin Gage was born on May 26, 1959 in northern Wisconsin, where he spent most of his youth. He graduated from local high school on his eighteenth birthday. When he was looking for work in Los Angeles three years later , an acting agent approached him, who encouraged him to deepen acting after an initial audition. He started acting in the first low budget films while studying drama school to improve his skills. It was here that he met his future wife, Kelly Preston , with whom he was married from 1985 to 1987. His first significant role was in 1995 as Waingro in the film Heat . Other roles in well-known films such as The Jane Files , Con Air and Blow followed. On September 29, 2003, Gage was sentenced to 41 months in prison for illegally growing marijuana . He was released early on September 21, 2005. He has been married to Shannon Perris-Knight since March 26, 2006.
