Kill Theory is an American horror -Thriller from 2009. Director of the film is Chris Moore .

The film begins with the psychologist Dr. Karl Truftin is talking to a patient. During a climbing tour to save his own life, he cut a rope and caused the death of three of his friends who were hanging on the rope. For this he was convicted of manslaughter and is now to be released on parole. The patient thinks that anyone would have acted like this, but Dr. Truftin sees it differently. Dr. Truftin also plans to write a book about this case.
Next we see the three couples, Amber and Brent, Jennifer and Michael, Nicole and Carlos and their friend Freddy on their way to Brent's father's holiday home to celebrate their college graduation. Once there, they meet Brent's stepsister Alex, who is on vacation there. During the night, Carlos's friend Nicole makes her way to the refrigerator and is overwhelmed from behind and dragged away and thrown dead at Freddy. After everyone gets together in the living room, they find a video showing Nicole aiming a gun at Carlos and someone trying to force her to pull the trigger. However, it tries to overwhelm whoever fails. Then she is murdered. The killer then asks everyone to kill each other by 6 a.m., until only one is left alive. This should then go. If more than one person were alive, he would kill them all.
Carlos and Brent try to get a gun that is in a cupboard on the property's jetty and notice that the boat has been sunk with the cupboard key. While Brent is trying to open the cupboard, Carlos sees an ax that he wants to get, but in the process he steps into a bear trap . Meanwhile, Brent managed to get the pistol out of the closet. When he sees the badly injured Carlos, he leaves him, returns to the house and tells the other Carlos had died. The killer treats Carlos and brings him back to the house.
Everyone now wants to flee to take Carlos to a hospital, only Brent is against it. Alex fetches the car and they carry Carlos inside. Finally, Brent comes along too. However, a trap destroyed the tires and the car got stuck. The killer orders that one of the group should get out of the car and he would then shoot him. Air balloons filled with gasoline are hung over the car and he shoots them up one after the other. He threatens to ignite the gasoline if one doesn't get out within a minute. Finally they throw Carlos out of the car, who is shot, and flee outside. Michael, Jennifer, Amber and Freddy run back into the house. Alex tries to get to her motorcycle, which is nearby. However, she is caught by the killer and has to turn back. Brent ran into the woods when the killer suddenly stood next to him and made him turn back.
On the lakeshore, Brent meets Alex. He knocks her down and then drowns her. Then he also returns to the house. However, Michael now has the pistol. So Brent tells Freddy that they could all escape with the boat, but since Michael has the gun, he would be in charge. And he would be against it. Brent tries to get Freddy to get him the gun. They go to the others and when Michael isn't paying attention, Freddy knocks the gun out of his hand. However, he does not give them to Brent and they fight. Finally, Freddy shoots Brent. Then he tries to throw the others out of the house. Amber leaves the house, Michael and Jennifer hide in the kitchen.
When Freddy is arguing with them, Brent comes over and rams an iron rod in Freddy's eye. Then he takes the pistol. Jennifer and Michael flee into the basement. He follows them and finds them. However, Amber manages to kill Brent with a shovel. Jennifer takes the gun and they go upstairs. Amber stays in the basement. When she goes upstairs to get something out of her purse, she finds a revolver placed there by the killer . She goes to the others in the kitchen and aims at Jennifer. This also targets Amber. Amber tells Michael that she loves him too. Eventually she is shot by Jennifer. Michael is horrified about it. He, Jennifer and the shot Amber then go back to the basement. You hear someone coming down the stairs. Michael thinks it's the killer and shoots. But it was Alex who now falls down the stairs, apparently dead.
Jennifer suddenly stabs a knife in Michael’s body. Then she wants to leave the cellar. As she walks past Amber, who is lying on the ground, she overwhelms and strangles Jennifer. Amber then drags herself to Michael, who is still alive, and lies down on his chest. Michael then commits suicide to save Amber.
In the end, the killer, who is also the patient from the beginning, calls Dr. Truftins practice and says on the answering machine that he would like to speak to him personally and that he has a new chapter for his book. He also asks whether Truftin still remembers how he got him to say that others decided differently than he and that he was wrong, because Truftin's son had confirmed his behavior. Killers was released in Germany on DVD via KSM on September 3, 2009 and was released on August 16, 2010, again uncut this time in a limited steelbox as Killers - In three hours you are dead by NEW KSM.

“The bottom line is still a very respectable horror flick. The blood does not splash in masses, but it is certainly there and a limb is cut off with a spade. It can always be used as a warm-up for a little horror evening at home. "
