Agnes Bruckner (* 16th August 1985 in Hollywood , California ) is an American actress .

Life

Bruckner has a Hungarian father and a Russian mother; her paternal grandfather was German ; her parents came to the USA in 1984. Bruckner made his debut in 1997 in the short film Girl . In the produced-to-video science fiction - Adventure Shandar - The Secret of the Hidden City (1998), she played one of the major roles. In the thriller The Glass House (2001) she was seen at the side of Leelee Sobieski .

In the film drama Blue Car - Poetry of Summer (2002), Bruckner took on the lead role of a high school student who is having an affair with her teacher. For this role she was nominated for the 2004 Independent Spirit Award . For her role in the thriller Mord nach Plan (2002), in which she played alongside Sandra Bullock , she was nominated for the Young Artist Award in 2003 . She played the leading role in the film drama Dreamland , for which she - together with Kelli Garner - was awarded two prizes at the Method Fest Independent Film Festival .

Bruckner lives with her family in Los Angeles and studies dance art.
