Teddy Dunn , actually Edward Wilkes Dunn , (born June 19, 1980 in Durham , North Carolina , United States ) is an American lawyer who worked as a film and television actor from 2003 to 2009.

Life

Teddy Dunn grew up in Durham, North Carolina, and attended Phillips Academy , a traditional high school in Andover , Massachusetts, in preparation for university. He made his debut in the school's theater company in a leading role in the play The Zoo Story by Edward Albee . Dunn graduated from high school in 1999 and then studied theater and political science at Northwestern University in Illinois through 2003 . He was an intern with Senator Teddy Kennedy . Teddy Dunn is the brother of documentary filmmaker Laura Dunn.

After his acting career from 2003 to 2009, Dunn decided to go back to college. In 2013 he graduated cum laude from Boston College with a Doctorate in Law . Today he is an associate at the international law firm Dechert LLP in New York.

Acting career

After a guest appearance as Graham Sullivan on the television series Gilmore Girls in 2004, he was slated for the fifth season as the eventual relationship of Rory Gilmore, played by Alexis Bledel . An engagement for the television series Veronica Mars came before the expansion of his role with the Gilmore Girls . His character in the now-discontinued Veronica Mars series , Duncan Kane, was Teddy Dunn's first professional challenge. In contrast to theater and film roles, the actor in a television series never knows where his character will develop: "On television, this arc only appears in front of you as it arises," Dunn described this difficulty in an interview. In Veronica Mars , Teddy Dunn is dubbed in German by Robin Kahnmeyer .

In 2004, Teddy Dunn also starred in Jonathan Demme's feature film The Manchurian Candidate . In 2006 he appeared in the series Grey's Anatomy . In February 2008, the film Jumper by director Doug Liman came out in the United States , in which Teddy Dunn played the role of Mark Kobold.

After two roles in smaller films, Dunn ended his acting career.
