Kevin Rafferty
Kevin Rafferty (born May 25, 1947 in Boston , † July 2, 2020 in New York City ) was an American cinematographer , director and producer .
Rafferty is best known for his work in the documentary field . For example, he shot The Atomic Café , a collage about the American approach to the atomic bomb of the 1940s and 1950s, and several films about American politics. Food for the Voters describes the American presidential campaign, The War Room (in which he directed the camera and DA Pennebaker ) the campaign of the presidential candidate Bill Clinton . Blood on the face was about the ultra-right wing scene in the USA, The Last Cigarette from the cigarette industry. In retrospect, his best-known film is probably Michael Moore's documentary Roger & Me , which he directed.
Kevin Rafferty is a cousin of George W. Bush .
