Kevin Stephan (born July 23, 1990 in Berlin ) is a German soccer player .

Career in the youth sector

Stephan took his first steps as a soccer player at the age of six with SSC Teutonia in 1899 . In 2003 he went to the Reinickendorfer Füchsen , before he moved to the youth department of Tennis Borussia Berlin in 2006 . With TeBe, Kevin Stephan qualified for the newly founded U-17 Bundesliga . In the same year he won the soccer school world championship held in Chile with the Poelchau Oberschule , where he scored a goal in the 2-1 final win against the selection of South Africa and he prepared another goal. Due to age, the change to the A-youth followed at the end of the season. However, Tennis Borussia had to relegate at the end of the 2007/08 season . Kevin Stephan then switched to Hertha BSC's youth team . With Hertha he finished fourth in 2008/09 .

Career as a professional

In 2009/10 Stephan made his debut in the Hertha BSC regional league team. There he scored nine goals straight away, making Stephan and Marvin Knoll the most successful Hertha goalscorer. In the first half of the following season , however, he only managed one goal.

At the beginning of the second half of the season, Kevin Stephan was loaned to the second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue for a year and a half . Stephan made his debut at Aue on the 22nd matchday of the 2010/11 season when he came on for Pierre le Beau in the 1-0 win over TSV 1860 Munich shortly before the end . In total, he came on five short assignments in his first professional season. In the 2011/12 season he was mainly used for the reserve team in the Oberliga Nordost .

For the 2017/18 season, Kevin Stephan is moving to VSG Altglienicke, who have been promoted to the regional league .
