Kevin William Barden
Kevin William Barden OP (born June 3, 1908 in Dublin , † December 4, 2004 ) was Archbishop of Isfahan .
Life
Kevin William Barden joined the Dominican Congregation and was ordained a priest on February 28, 1931 . Pope Paul VI appointed him Archbishop of Isfahan on May 30, 1974 . The secretary of the Congregation for the Eastern Churches , Mario Brini , ordained him episcopal on October 25th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Youhannan Semaan Issayi , Archbishop of Tehran , and Hanna Kello , Bishop of Amadiyah . On August 12, 1982, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
He died on December 4, 2004 at the age of 96.
