Khia Chambers (born November 8, 1977 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania as Khia Shamone Chambers ), known by her stage name Khia , is an American rapper and music producer.

biography

Initially under contract with the Artemis record label from 2001 , she founded her own independent label Thug Misses Entertainment in July 2006 , and in 2007 she also signed a contract with Big Cat Records , which she canceled in July 2008. Her album, Nasti Muzik , was released on Big Cat Records . In 2005 Kiah and Sido released the track "Badesong" on the album "Numma Eyns" by DJ Tomekk, which was placed in the German charts.

Controversy

Since the mid-2000s, Khia has been in a beef  with the rapper Trina , who made her the title "Queen of the Southern States" disputed. In 2011, Khia caused a stir when she accused singer Beyoncé of having used her single for her music video for the song "Party". In the same year, disputes with rapper Lil Kim are  documented.
