Trina (* 3. December 1978 in Miami , actually Katrina Le'verne Taylor ) is a US-based Dirty South - rapper .

Career

Trina was the first time on the hit single Nann Nigga of Trick Daddy to hear. In 1998 she signed a contract with his record label Slip-N-Slide . Two years later, their debut album, Da Baddest Bitch , was released, which went gold . Due to her, for a female rapper, unusually hard and slippery lyrics, she soon rose to the league of Foxy Brown and Lil 'Kim . Trina's 2002 album Diamond Princess was produced by the then Roc-a-Fella Records house producer Kanye West , among others . On October 4th, 2005, their third long player called The Glamorest Life was released. Besides other artists, Snoop Dogg and Young Buck are also represented here.

In addition to her albums, Trina supports numerous other musicians with their projects. She has worked with Missy Elliott , Ludacris and Cassidy . Songs by Trina were also used in films such as Blade II and Exit Wounds .

She played the lead role in A Miami Tail (2003).

In 2005, Trina founded her own modeling agency and a non-profit consulting organization for young girls under the name Diamond Dolls . She released her own clothing line called Diamond Princess Wear . She has also created her own perfume called Diamond Princess and can be seen in her own sitcom With Friends Like These .
