Kidane-Mariam Teklehaimanot (born September 10, 1933 in Monoxoito , Ethiopia , † June 2, 2009 ) was bishop of the Adigrat eparchy of the Ethiopian Catholic Church .

Life

Kidane-Mariam Teklehaimanot was ordained a priest on December 20, 1964 .

In 1984 Pope John Paul II appointed him fifth bishop of the Adigrat eparchy of the Ethiopian Catholic Church. He was ordained bishop on February 10, 1985 by the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Addis Ababa and later Cardinal Paulos Tzadua ; Co -consecrators were his predecessor Sebhat-Leab Worku SDB , and Zekarias Yohannes , auxiliary bishop in the Asmara eparchy . He was Ethiopia's representative in the Association of Bishops' Conferences of East Africa (AMECEA) .

In 2001 Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
