Kieselbach is a district of the city of Hartha in the district of central Saxony . 1964 the place had 209 inhabitants. 1952 Neudörfchen was incorporated. In 1969 it was incorporated into Gersdorf , since 2004 it has belonged to Hartha.

history

Kieselbach was created in the 12th century as part of the state expansion in the Pleißenland .

In 1245 Ks. Friedrich II. Confirmed to the Buch u. a. the possession of Kiselbach , which it had received from Heinrich von Polkenberg ( de Poleche ) together with Gersdorf and Langenau. In 1255 an Ulrich von Kyselbach is mentioned, presumably a former vassal of the Lords of Polkenberg. However, a manor house cannot be located. In 1277 the regulations concerning the craftsmen in Gersdorf between the monastery Buch and the burgrave of Leisnig also included the area of ​​Kieselbach.

In 1378 Kieselbach had 11 bushels of grain and the same in oats a year, plus a kitchen beef to deliver to the castrum Leisnig. 1386 sold Mgf. Wilhelm the monastery book further income u. a. in Kieselbach with both dishes.

In 1548, the Buch zu Kieselbach monastery inheritance book names "9 possessed men, including 5 horse men, who are all loanable and interestable to the Buch monastery" with 7½ hooves. Both dishes are at the Buch monastery and the pastor of Gersdorf.

Kieselbach was always parish to Gersdorf.

On January 1, 1952, the previously independent municipality Neudörfchen was incorporated.
