Kilian Kemmer

Kilian Kemmer (* 1980 in Munich ) is a German business manager and jazz musician ( piano , composition ).

Live and act

Kemmer, who completed classical piano training in his youth, studied economics and philosophy at the Sorbonne and the Humboldt University in Berlin (Master 2003). In 2008 he obtained his doctorate at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich on the problem of the “unconditional basic income ”. He also took jazz piano lessons from Leonid Chizhik , but also from John Taylor .

Kemmer works in change management at a large telecommunications company . With his trio, to which the saxophonist Matthieu Bordenave and the bassist Rene Haderer belonged, he presented Clara in 2010 ; In 2018, his quartet released the album Jetzt und in Echt on GLM . As a sideman he continued to play with Maucha Adnet , Bruno Castellucci , Uli Beckerhoff and Jochen Schmidt-Hambrock .
