Kim Schnitzer

Kim Schnitzer (born January 17, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

From 1997 to 2002 Schnitzer was a member of the children's ensemble at the Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin and then took on roles in three short films.

In 2005 she made her cinema debut in Henner Winckler's film drama Lucy , for which she received the Undine Award for best young character actress .

She played her second leading role in a feature film in the 2007 film Zeit der Fisch by Heiko Aufdermauer . Since 2008 she has appeared mainly in Berlin as a theater actress , a. a. in Inga Köhler's and Claudia Wuschansky's staging of Ian McEwan's novel Der Zementgarten .

From 2013 to 2017 she attended the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. In 2016 she was in the play Sommergäste nach Maxim Gorki, directed by Silvia Rieger, at the Volksbühne Berlin . In 2017 she received a permanent engagement at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe .
