Kim So-hui (born January 29, 1994 ) is a South Korean Taekwondoin and Olympic champion. It starts in the weight class up to 49 kilograms.

Kim played her first international title fights at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore . In the class up to 49 kilograms, however, she retired after her opening fight. In the following year, at the age of just 17, she made her breakthrough in the adult segment at the international top. At the world championship in Gyeongju she defeated in the class up to 46 kilograms after three opening successes in the semifinals Rukiye Yıldırım and in the final Li Zhaoyi and celebrated her first world title. The 2012 Asian Cup in Ho Chi Minh City was also successful . Kim made it to the semi-finals and won the bronze medal. In 2013 she defended her world title with a final victory against the Russian Anastassija Walujewa . This was followed by the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games in front of a home crowd in Incheon . In the final, Kim defeated Lin Wan-Ting from Taiwan .

In 2016 Kim became Olympic champion in the class up to 49 kg at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and won the final against Serbian Tijana Bogdanović .
