Rukiye Yıldırım (born February 12, 1991 in Ankara ) is a Turkish Taekwondoin . It starts in the lightest weight class up to 46 kilograms.

Yıldırım came to Taekwondo at the age of eleven and has since started for the association Kanka Taekwondo Spor Kulübünde in her hometown. She is trained by Hızır Pınaroğlu. Yıldırım has been participating in international junior competitions since 2007. In the adult area, she made her debut at the 2009 World Cup in Copenhagen , where she could reach the second round in the class up to 46 kilograms. In the following year Yıldırım rose to the top of the international league. First she became Junior European Champion in Kharkiv , later she won her first adult title at the European Championships in Saint Petersburg . In 2011 she was able to build on her successes. In Gyeongju she moved into the semi-finals with a quarter-final victory against Carolena Carstens at the World Cup and won her first World Cup medal, in Shenzhen she also won silver at the Universiade . At the European Championships in Manchester in 2012 , Yıldırım was able to win another European Championship medal with bronze, she was only narrowly defeated in the semifinals to Ioanna Koutsou .
