Tijana Bogdanović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Тијана Богдановић ; * May 4, 1998 in Kruševac ) is a Serbian Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 53 kilograms.

Career

Bogdanović was already very successful in the juniors. She became European champion in 2013 and 2015 and qualified for the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing . In the adult sector, she achieved her first international successes in 2014 and 2015. So she won the bronze medal in the weight class up to 49 kilograms at the World Championships in Chelyabinsk , after she was eliminated in the semifinals against Ha Min-ah 5-7. At the European Games in Baku she reached the final, in which she was defeated by Charlie Maddock 6-7 . At the beginning of 2016, she finished second in the European qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , thus securing a starting place at the Games. In 2016, in Montreux , she became European champion in the adult division for the first time . After three wins, Bogdanović was in the final of the competition at the Olympic Games , but had to admit defeat to Kim So-hui 6: 7. She won silver with it. Since 2017 it starts in the weight class up to 53 kilograms. At the 2017 World Championships , she was eliminated in the quarter-finals.
