Kincardine O'Neil is a settlement in the Scottish Council Area of Aberdeenshire and the traditional Scottish county of Kincardineshire . It is located in the Deeside region about 35 km west of Aberdeen and 60 km north-northeast of Dundee on the north bank of the Dee . In 1971, Kincardine O'Neil had 177 residents. Kincardine O'Neil is at an altitude of about 70 m.
The most important buildings in Kincardine O'Neil include the old parish church from the 14th century, a historic customs post and an episcopal church from 1866. The A93 runs through Kincardine O'Neil and connects the village to the trunk road network. A short distance to the east, the B993 branches off in a north-easterly direction and continues beyond Inverurie . South of Inverurie it offers a connection to the A96 , which connects Aberdeen with Inverness .
