King Sabata Dalindyebo ( King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality ) is a community in the South African province of Eastern Cape (Eastern Cape). It belongs to the OR Tambo district .

The administrative seat of the municipality is Mthatha . In 2011, 451,710 people lived in the area in an area of ​​3,027 square kilometers. The community is named after the traditional Thembu ruler Sabata Jonguhlanga Dalindyebo (1928–1986).
