King Sabata Dalindyebo ( King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality ) is a community in the South African province of Eastern Cape (Eastern Cape). It belongs to the OR Tambo district .
The administrative seat of the municipality is Mthatha . In 2011, 451,710 people lived in the area in an area of 3,027 square kilometers. The community is named after the traditional Thembu ruler Sabata Jonguhlanga Dalindyebo (1928–1986).
The African National Congress leads the congregation. Mayor is Dumani Zozo.
