Dillstädt Church
The Dillstädt church is located near the main street of Dillstädt , a municipality in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district in Thuringia . The parish Dillstädt belongs to the parish area pipe in Kirchenkreis Henneberger Land of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The hall church with a choir tower was built using an older tower stump made of rubble stones in the period from 1593 to 1596, according to an inscription . It burned down in the early 18th century. It was rebuilt after the fire. The plastered nave with corner stones , which is covered with a half- hip roof, has irregular rectangular windows . In addition to these, individual clogged windows from the various construction phases are visible. The stone-sighted tower has a striking barrel roof . The nave , which is covered with a wooden barrel vault, has two-story galleries . The baptismal font dates from the 18th century, the octagonal baptismal font from 1579. The last renovation was in 1993.
