Church Neuendorf A

The Neuendorf A church is a church building in the Neuendorf A district of the Ducherow municipality in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district . It belongs to the parish of Leopoldshagen in the Pasewalk provost of the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany .

The church was built in 1892 on behalf of the landowner Erich von Borcke (1843–1933). He had the church built in memory of his late wife Agnes Freiin von Klot-Trautvetter (1857–1887) and donated the inventory.

The neo-Gothic rectangular brick building has a polygonal east end and a retracted square west tower. The uniform neo-Gothic furnishings including the patronage stalls have been preserved from the construction period .

Marble tablets are dedicated to the landowners Rudolf von Schwerin († 1881), Erich and Agnes von Borcke. In the choir there is an epitaph for Albert von Borcke († 1918).

The organ was built in Barnim Grüneberg's workshop in Stettin .

The bell is older than the church. It was shot by Johann Heinrich Scheel in Stettin in 1743.
