Attractions

The St. Sebastian branch church, also known as the Kirscher Chapel , is located on Bachstrasse. It was built in 1781 on the foundations of a structure built between 1599 and 1623. It is a three-sided hall building with a cove ceiling . In the sloping choir there is a sandstone figure of St. Sebastian from the 16th century, which probably comes from the workshop of Hans Ruprecht Hoffmann . The branch church is a typical representative of the late baroque chapel style in this Trier region.

A Pietà can be seen in Bothgasse . The wooden Vesper picture, created in the 18th century, was located in a niche of the ferry tower, which was abandoned in 1902, on the Kirscher side of the Moselle , opposite the Schweich-Issel ferry tower .
