Kirsten Kasper (born August 31, 1991 in Ottawa , Ontario ) is an American triathlete .

Career

Before joining the triathlon in 2014, Kirsten Kasper was active in cross-country running for five years.
In July 2016 she became world champion in the triathlon sprint distance with the US team in Hamburg.

In May 2017, with third place in Yokohama, she won her first medal in an ITU world championship race on the short distance triathlon (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running) and the then 26-year-old took the annual standings fourth place in the World Championship racing series.

The World Cup racing series in 2018 ended Kirsten Kasper after the last race in September as the second best US-American as last year in fourth place.
In the multi-day races of the Super League Triathlon , she finished third three times in 2018 - in September on Jersey, in October on Malta and in November on Mallorca.

Kirsten Kasper lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
