Kirsten Reinhardt

Kirsten Reinhardt (* 1977 in Lüneburger Heide ) is a German writer , she writes children's books .

Live and act

In 1996 she graduated from the German School Tokyo / Yokohama (DSTY) in Japan . After studying theater studies and literary studies, she trained as an editor at the Berlin School of Journalism (BJS). She worked as an editor for the daily newspaper (taz).

In 2009 she won the Oldenburg Children's Book price for their still unpublished manuscript in 2011 under the title Fennymores trip or How dachshund in a salt crust makes the Carlsen publishing house appeared. Received positively by the critics, the title has also been nominated for several awards and has been translated into five languages. There are now other novels by her for children.

She lives as a freelance writer in Berlin .
