Kisbér ( German Beer ) is a town in Komárom-Esztergom County in Hungary . The place was first mentioned in writing in 1277.
The Kisbér stud was established in Kisbér in 1853. It was an imperial and royal state horse breeding facility for the common army . The Kisbéri félvér horse breed also comes from this stud . The stud no longer exists today.
Town twinning
Town partnerships exist with the German community Eslohe in the Hochsauerland district, with Kolárovo (German: Gutta) in Slovakia and with Câmpia Turzii (German: Jerischmarkt) in Romania.
