Kishō Yano ( Japanese 矢野 貴 章 , Yano Kishō ; born April 5, 1984 in Hamamatsu , Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player who has been under contract with Tochigi SC since 2020 .
Career
societies
Yano was appointed to the Japanese U-17 selection during his time at Hamana High School in his hometown of Hamamatsu . After finishing school, he joined the first division club Kashiwa Reysol , where he was often used in two of his three years. However, the center forward, who only switched from defense to attack at the age of 16, could not prevent the club from relegating to the second division with just two goals in 2005.
Yano then went to Albirex Niigata . There he was a regular player from the start and scored 30 goals in 150 league appearances. Shortly before the end of the transfer deadline, he moved to the German Bundesliga club SC Freiburg in August 2010 .
On February 8, 2012, Yano, who had been sorted out in Freiburg, returned to Albirex Niigata's homeland. Since mid-January he has been training with the Breisgau's second team.
In January 2013, he moved to Nagoya Grampus .
National team
The 1.85 meter tall and assertive striker was soon also in discussion with the national team . On March 24, 2007 he made his debut in the national shirt. However, he stayed there as a substitute player and usually only had a wild card role as a substitute. His nomination for the Japanese squad for the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa was therefore a surprise. In the first World Cup game he was used when the score was 1-0 against Cameroon in the final phase. It was his only use until the Japanese were eliminated in the second round.
